Why insist on cross-ply hardwoods for our boards?
Ply hardwoods are ideal for wet or moist conditions due their cross ply laminated structure, limiting wood movement and providing exceptional resistance to decay, fungi, and moisture absorption. These properties make our Waverley Bath Boards highly durable and an ideal addition to your spa or bath.
Do your bath boards come stained?
No. We do not stain our bath boards. We do use an organic sealant on all of our boards to ensure a longer lasting board that does not warp from moisture.
How do I size the width of my bath board?
Waverley Bath Boards measure 30″ long x 12″ wide x 1″ thick.
Our boards come with laterally adjustable feet so you can slide your board into the perfect snug position in your bath.
Use a measuring tape to determine the inches you will need your board to span.
Does Waverley Bath Boards ship outside North America?
Unfortunately, no. We only ship our bath boards within US and Canada at this time.

What do bath salts do for your body?
When dissolved in warm water, bath salt is absorbed through the skin and replenishes the level of magnesium in the body. The magnesium helps to produce serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of calm and relaxation.
Are your candles natty?
All candles available in our board packages are 100% natural and free of: paraffin wax, synthetic fragrances, dyes, or lead (wicks).
How do our bath boards work in bed?
When purchasing a Bed Bath Board you can add our extended wooden legs to your board package (matching grain). Use our boards as a bed table to just enjoy a show and snack, or work from home without your feet ever hitting the floor.
Can I sit on my bath board?
While we do not recommend that you sit on our Waverley Bath Boards, they are rated to hold approximately excess of 300 lbs in weight…so…
Can I use my bath board for sitting in my shower?
While we do not recommend you use our Waverley Bath Boards as a seat or mobility aide, we DO hear from customers who use them in situations where their mobility is limited. For individuals with mobility issues, we do hear from customers that:
• Have difficulty standing in their shower for long periods;
• Need a little assistance getting in-and-out of their bath or shower;
• Need a little space to help shaving their legs;
• Want to relax for a peaceful moment in hot water.
